Julian Frattini, Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden
Julian Frattini is a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Daniel Mendez. He is actively researching in the area of requirements quality for which he often employs AI and NLP techniques to automate quality assurance tasks. He serves in the organizing committee of RE'24 and REFSQ'24 and co-organizes the AIRE and CrowdRE workshop.
Sepideh Ghanavati, University of Maine, USA
Sepideh Ghanavati is an associate professor in Computer Science at the University of Maine. She is the director of the Privacy Engineering - Regulatory Compliance Lab (PERC_Lab). Her research interests are in the areas of information privacy and security, software engineering, machine learning, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Previously, she worked as an assistant professor at Texas Tech University, a visiting assistant professor at Radboud University in the Netherlands, and as a visiting faculty at Carnegie Mellon University. She is the recipient of the NSF CAREER Award in 2023 and the Google Faculty Research Awards in 2018 and 2021. She has more than 15 years of academic and industry experience in the area of privacy and regulatory compliance. She was a co-organizer of the NLP4RE and ESPRE in 2024, as well as the `Privacy and Language Technologies' at the 2019 AAAI Spring Symposium and has been part of the organizing committee of several workshops and conferences in the recent past.
Quim Motger, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Spain
Quim Motger is a postdoctoral researcher at the Software and Service Engineering Research Group (GESSI) of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Barcelona, Spain. His research revolves around natural language processing methods to support requirements engineering tasks. Specifically, he is dedicated to automated requirements traceability, knowledge graph generation, user feedback analysis, and app store mining. He has been serving on the organizing committees of RCIS, REFSQ, and RE.
