Sallam Abualhaija, University of Luxembourg, Luxembourg
Sallam Abualhaija] is a Research Scientist at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability, and Trust (SnT), University of Luxembourg. She received her PhD in Computer Science in 2016 from Hamburg University of Technology, Germany. Her main research interests combine AI with software engineering, with an emphasis on: requirements engineering, regulatory compliance, natural language processing, and machine learning. She has been on the organizing / program committees of several international conferences for both software engineering and natural language processing like RE, ICSE, ACL, and EMNLP.
Mehrdad Sabetzadeh, University of Ottawa, Canada
Mehrdad Sabetzadeh is an Associate Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Ottawa. Sabetzadeh received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Toronto. His main research interests are in software engineering with an emphasis on AI-enabled requirements engineering, model-based development, and regulatory compliance. Sabetzadeh is passionate about fostering stronger ties between academia and industry; in the past decade, he has conducted most of his research in close collaboration with industry partners. His experience spans several sectors, including government, finance, legal services, telecommunications, maritime, energy, aerospace, railways, and automotive. Sabetzadeh has co-authored more than 80 scientific papers and secured more than $7M of research funding as lead investigator. He regularly serves on the organizing / program committees of several international conferences including RE, REFSQ, ICSE, ESEC/FSE, ASE, and MODELS.
Juan Trujillo , University of Alicante, Spain
Juan Trujillo is a Full Professor at the University of Alicante, Dept. of Software and Computing Systems. Since he got his Ph.D. in 2001, he has been leading the Business Intelligence and Big Data research in the Department and has also been the founder and director of The Lucentia Research Group since 2008. His main research topics include Big Data, Requirements' Engineering, Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, Data Warehouses and Decision Support Systems. He is author of more than 200 conference papers, such as RE, ER, UML, DAWAK or CAiSE, and more than 70 JCR papers, such as FG, DSS, ISOFT, IS or InfSci. He serves as Program Committee member in several top-ranked conferences as well as he has been Program Committee Chair of several workshops and conferences. He has also been Principal Investigator of many Research and Technology Transfer Projects. He is the principal co-founder of the Lucentia Spin-off company, a company focused on Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and Blockchain, mainly.
